About Dibrugarh University: Dibrugarh University, established in 1965 as a consequence of the provisions of the Dibrugarh University Act, 1965 enacted by the Legislative Assembly of Assam. The University manages 177 affiliated colleges and institutes spread across nine districts in Assam. Dibrugarh University is a member of the Association of Indian Universities and is recognized by all universities in India and abroad. Dibrugarh University conducts the Common Entrance Test (B.Ed CET 2023) for admission to the Dibrugarh University two-year B.Ed Program recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).
