About Assam SLET

Candidates aspiring to become professors/lecturers of various colleges and institutes in the districts of Assam appear for this test. This exam is conducted on a yearly basis by the SLET Commission, Assam (NE). The State Level Eligibility Test (SLET) certification is mandatory for recruitment as a post-graduate teacher.

The exam consists of two papers i.e. Paper-I & II. Candidates who aspire to qualify for teaching at the college level apply for it. The paper is conducted in multiple languages such as Assamese, Bengali, Bodo and English.
